How do I reserve my date?
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of your package price is required to lock in the date. In the event that more than one client wishes to book wedding services on the same day, preference will go to the first client to pay the deposit.
How much time is allotted to wedding videography?
We offer several packages with various time allotments for video ranging from 4 hours to unlimited coverage. Time begins from the moment of first recording. At the end of the allotted time, we will approach the bride or groom to confirm that no additional time is needed. Additional time may be purchased for $100/hour.
What kind of lighting conditions are required?
Moderate room lighting is necessary. Video cameras do not benefit from the same kind of lighting that still-image cameras do. Because videography is constant, constant light is required. Your ceremony will need adequate, constant room lighting to create a good image. We do not provide on-camera lighting during the ceremony as we find that this is too distracting. Since receptions are generally more casual, we provide the additional lighting that is required.
How is sound captured at the ceremony and/or reception?
We prefer to take advantage of the existing sound system at your church or venue. If your wedding officiator is wearing a microphone that is sent through a sound system, we can capture a clean line of sound using their equipment with permission. Otherwise we will ask that the groom wear a wireless lapel microphone. The same applies for receptions. We can work with the DJ to record the same sound that is being sent through their sound system for better quality.
What is a "Love Story" video?
The "Love Story" video is a selection of highlights throughout your day, set to your music of choice. This video not only contains the biggest moments of your ceremony and reception, but also candids captured throughout the day.
When will I receive my finished video?
You will receive your finished video within six weeks of your wedding day. Once it is edited, we will put a private copy online and ask that you review it. If no changes are requested, then we mail out your DVDs or Blu-Rays immediately after we receive your video approval form.
Can I get the unedited footage captured on our wedding day?
We do not offer the unedited footage in any form. The raw footage is a massive amount of data that is too cumbersome to deliver to clients. The footage is also captured in a proprietary editing format that would not be viewable without special software.
